2 Problems
by: Admin.Saqib

To Noora or Lynn,

I have never heard such kind of marriage in Islam. Liberally speaking, it may be a marriage but there are two problems. Most of the Muslim scholars opine that a Muslim marriage must be witnessed at least by two persons. However, your marriage does not fulfill the requirement. You can call the witnesses even now. Secondly, marriages are to be registered in most of the countries and Dubai can not be an exception. If your marriage is not registered you may not claim any kind of legal rights before the courts of law. I suggest you to get your marriage registered under the law of land to enjoy all benefits that a Muslim woman can do.
